Soooooo, why was a tax considered for employee raises when it "appears" there is/was money in the general fund?

It also looks like the mayor and the rest of the elected officials are going to get a raise. Let's see which Council members vote against this one.

The raise for elected officials... for only those that are considered FULL TIME.

Yes and it gets even more interesting when it says: "Approving a 3% Salary Increase to certain full time salaried employees."
in R-08-106. Some get raises and some don't? Thats a real Morale builder. Shouldn't the elected officials wait until all the other city employees even the hourly workers get a raise, before giving themselves one?
Tiger I'm with you, lets watch who votes themselves a raise and leaves out the ones who are actually doing the labor.
Then theres that letter offering support to relocate the USS Orleck. Did Admiral Hayes include a check in that letter? Mr Mayor you do realize this is an election year don't you?

Sooo The mayor has a stash of $7 Million in a "reserve fund" hmmmmm. I wonder if this will be mentioned at the Council meeting? I wonder too what other secrets The Honory, I mean Honorable Mr Hayes is hiding?
