September 28, 1923 - August 3, 2008

LaNora Mae Bryant Diederich, 84, of North Little Rock, Arkansas entered Heaven on August 3, 2008 from her home. She was born in McGehee, Arkansas, September 28, 1923 to Roy and Zola Bryant who lived at 1615 Poplar Street, North Little Rock for many years.

She was a member of Park Hill Christian Church. LaNora kept the books and handled the office work for Diederich Sales & Service Company from 1954 until she retired. She was a member since 1960 and Past Worthy Matron of Florence Chapter #15, Order of the Eastern Star in North Little Rock. She served as a Grand Representative for the Grand Chapter Order of Eastern Star in Arkansas for a three year term and as Grand Ruth for Lynnette Collums and Arthur Leath in 1972. She married Otto William Diederich in 1942 and together they had five children.


She is survived by two sons, two daughters and their respective families: Otto William Diederich, Jr. and wife Ginger, of North Little Rock, LaNora Jeanne Oholendt and husband Phillip, of Vail, Arizona, Joe Paul Diederich and wife Janice of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Zola Jane Oholendt and husband Ronald of Black Forest, Colorado. She is also survived by a sister, Thelma Marshall of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, and a brother, Robert Bryant of Onalaska, Texas, five grandsons, Brian Oholendt and wife Samantha, David Oholendt and wife Lindsay, Dr. Andrew Diederich and wife Jenny, Matt Oholendt and wife Melissa, and Stephen Oholendt. One granddaughter, Tiffany Culbertson and husband Charles, four great-grandchildren, Hayden and Benjamin Oholendt and Michael and Gabriel Culbertson.

She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Zola Bryant, husband Otto W. (Bill) Diederich and a daughter, infant Carol Jane Diederich.

Her family would like to thank her nieces, Carolyn Coffman and Billie Jean Caldarera for attending to her during her illness and also for helping celebrate with her every birthday and holiday. The family would also like to thank her caregiver and companion Becky, the doctors at the Reynolds Center for the Aging, and staff at St. Vincent’s North Hospital and Arkansas Hospice for their excellent care and assistance.
 
Family Visitation will be Tuesday, August 5, 2008, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy, North Little Rock, AR. (501) 791-7400.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Roller-Owens Chapel with interment at Bayou Meto Cemetery in Jacksonville, AR. website
