The various North Little Rock Night Out celebrations were attended by about 750-1000 local residents. The community gatherings were held to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs; Strengthening neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and sending a message to criminals letting them know that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
The largest event was in Baring Cross, with at least 200 people attending, and included passionate motivational speeches. Dogtownwire made it to 8 of the 9 celebrations, only missing Northeast Lakewood's parade. Here are some of the pictures we took, click on the picture to view the caption.
