The Argenta Downtown Council's (ADC) Public Safety Ambassador (PSA) Program In downtown North Little Rock has been a great success.  In July, PSAs Buford Johnson and Chris ‘Scooby’ Pheatt have assisted 168 guests and residents by providing information and directions, made 57 motorist assists, and escorted 38 people to various locations in the district.  They have also assisted the North Little Rock Police Department, and Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services (MEMS) when they were called upon to help.

In one incident, PSA Pheatt provided on site first aid to a rider when her bicycle became caught in the trolley tracks and she fell from her bike.  The MEMS responders were grateful for his quick assistance.  Many have commented that the service is an asset to the Argenta area and are thankful for the Ambassador’s presence.  This program has been in place for a little over one month, having started on July 2nd.
