Hey Joe, if that even is your real name, if you were a real man you would bring these accusations up face to face with Sam. But instead like a coward hide behind the anonymity of the a blog. Sam has been a close friend of mine for a number of years now. I know him well. I known him to be nothing but an ethical , caring man. Someone who is concerned deeply about his community and the people that live in it. You obviously know very little about Sam. If you are so brave and you have the balls talk to Sam face to face, or shut up!!!!!!!! I am tired of hearing this gossip about Sam. Where is your evidence? Either put up or shut up.

Isn't any news good news? Aldermen races largely go under the radar. In this time of political apathy, getting people worked up about something other than gas price just might increase turnout. Too bad it's more like high school and less about hard hitting issues our neighborhoods ought be concerned with. Couldn't we focus on ways to cut frivolous bureaucracy and find new ways to help our community? The earnings limits for some outreach programs seem unreasonable and strange. They're encouraging so many of the seven sins. Least of which, lethargy. If you make less than 13k you get free food, less than 18k you get utility assistance for inefficient homes with unsavvy sometimes wasteful occupants, misdiagnosed kids fed full of pharmaceuticals and television so grown ups can be bothered by them less, public funds used for inefficient private transportation. For durations allowing parents to do things they might normally refrain from. Guess it's better than letting them roam our vagrant infested streets without parental supervision. Although a gang of young youth I recently met seem to be acclimating nicely to the life so many 'homeless' people enjoy. Good thing we allow anyone to sleep anywhere, hang their clothes to dry anyplace, and distribute essentials at convenient locations. The way our recession is headed, there may be more of us losing jobs than ever anticipated. Maybe the day center should encompass an even larger acreage afterall.
