Central Arkansas Development Council is accepting applications for the North Little Rock Utility Assistance Program. This program assists households with utility bills from the North Little Rock Electric Department.

In order to qualify for assistance, an applicant must show proof of income at or below 125% of poverty level. For a family of three, the income must not be greater than $21,463 per year. Add $3,480 for each additional family member.

In addition to the income guidelines, the applicant must have been a North Little Rock Electric Department customer for at least one year and the bill must be in their name. Applicants must also have a current shut off notice. This program offers one-time assistance for qualified households.

To apply, call the North Little Rock Workforce Center on Thursday or Friday only between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. at 501-771-0745, to make an appointment.
