The Central
Arkansas Development Council (CADC) will distribute USDA commodities at 12
locations in PulaskiCounty
Sept. 18 beginning at 9 a.m. In North Little Rock the distribution locationis are at Oakgrove Fire Station at 18122
McArthur Dr. and River City Ministry at 1021
Washington.
Food items to be distributed may include carrots, corn, tomatoes,
grapefruit juice, tomato juice, apple sauce, salmon, dry pinto beans, dry egg
noodles, peanut butter, and rice.

To be eligible to receive USDA commodities, income guidelines must be
met. The income guidelines for this program are based on 130% of the Federal
Poverty Guidelines. Based on these guidelines, a one person household must make
less than $13,520 per year to qualify for this program. For each additional
family member, add $4,680 to the yearly income to determine
eligibility.
The CADC is a private nonprofit community action agency that was formed in
