Ward 2 Alderman Olen Thomas and Alderwoman Linda Robinson
have called a town meeting to be held tonight from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Rose
City Boys and Girls Club at 400 Rose Lane.
The meeting is being called by Robinson and Thomas to
discuss Mayor Pat Hays’ proposed one cent sales tax and the desire of both to have
resident feedback, according to the information received.
The meeting is limited to one hour, but issues are planned for discussion. Representatives from
the Police Department and Rose City Middle School will be on hand to answer residnets' questions.
Youth Services will have a representative
to discuss summer youth programs and one from Baptist Health will discuss the
upcoming Rose City resource guide.
